The RS485 smart street light solution tailored specifically for tunnel environments represents a cutting-edge integration of technology aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and management. Leveraging RS485 communication mode, this solution ensures robust connectivity and extended transmission distances, which are crucial for tunnel infrastructure.
RS485 smart street light solution, only for tunnel, using RS485 communication mode, through the signal controller to increase the transmission distance. Signal control unit linked between the centralized controller and LCU for strengthening communication signal (RS485). The centralized controller will gather all the signals to Gebosun® patent smart control system, to realize the smart operation and management of the street light.
At the heart of this system lies the initial centralized controller, linked to a maximum of 200 signal control units, every unit can link to 50-80 driver single lamp controller. Through its interface, it amplifies and regulates communication signals along the RS485 protocol, expanding and enhancing signals, and enabling seamless data transmission across extensive tunnel networks. This fortified connectivity is indispensable for maintaining uninterrupted communication between devices even in challenging tunnel environments characterized by interference and attenuation. Equipped with Gebosun® SSLS can give immediate feedback on the problem and pinpoint the exact location for easy control and maintenance.
Central to this solution is the centralized controller, a centralized hub tasked with aggregating signals from distributed street light fixtures. Its role is pivotal in consolidating data streams and forwarding them to the Gebosun® patent smart control system. Through efficient data aggregation and processing, the centralized controller facilitates seamless integration with the smart control platform, enabling comprehensive oversight and management of street lighting operations.
Integrating a signal control unit further reinforces communication reliability. Positioned strategically between the centralized controller and signal control unit, it acts as a buffer, optimizing signal strength and mitigating potential disruptions. By fine-tuning signal parameters, it ensures consistent and dependable data exchange, facilitating real-time monitoring and control of street lights.
