Gebosun® Gateway for Smart Street Lights

The Gebosun® wireless access point gateway in a smart solar street light system acts as a communication bridge between the street lights and the smart city control system. It gathers data from multiple street lights, such as energy usage, lighting performance, operating status, and system health, and transmits this information to the central control system. The gateway enables remote monitoring and control, facilitating functions like dimming, scheduling, and fault detection. Its usage ensures efficient energy management and allows for smart lighting adjustments based on environmental and operational conditions.

Data Monitor

Energy Consumption: Tracks how much energy each street light is using.

Lighting Status: Monitors whether the lights are on, off, or dimmed and adjust brightness.

Fault Detection: Detects issues such as malfunctioning street lights or system errors.

Environmental Conditions: Records data like ambient light levels or weather conditions.

Battery Health: Monitors the charge/discharge status and overall health of solar-powered street lights.

Self-Forming

Self-Healing Network

A Self-Forming, Self-Healing Network of gateways refers to an intelligent system where smart street lights automatically connect and communicate with one another without manual configuration. If one gateway fails or loses connection, the network can self-heal by rerouting data through other functioning gateways, ensuring continuous communication. This ensures reliability, robustness, and scalability, as new lights can be added easily, and the system remains operational even during network failures, optimizing energy use and reducing maintenance needs.

Over-the-Air Updates

Keep your smart street lighting infrastructure normally operating with enhancing functionality updates deployed directly to the Gebosun® gateway over the air.

This method saves labor and time, ensuring that the system stays up to date with the latest functionalities and security protocols. Remote updates help maintain the efficiency and security of smart street light systems, reducing operational downtime and costs.
