Philippine Seaside Resort Solar Street Light Project: Light Up Every Nook And Cranny
New Solar Street Light Project Implemented in the Philippines
QBD series all-in-one solar street light
Battery: LiFePO4 lithium battery.
Controller: Pro-Double MPPT Solar Charge Controller.
LED Module: High-efficiency LED chips with a beam angle of 70°*150°.
Housing: Durable die-casting aluminum with IP65 waterproof rating.

Initial Planning Of Beachside Solar Illumination
We also had to account for the long stretches of beachfront and pathways. The lights needed to be bright enough to ensure safety and comfort for guests but also aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive against the stunning backdrop of the resort. Creating a romantic and high-brightness ambiance illumination at night.

Overcome Challenges By Professionalism
- Saltwater and Humidity: The salty sea breeze and humid environment can corrode and damage many street lights. To solve this, we used corrosion-resistant materials like aluminum alloy and stainless steel for the light poles and frames. We also selected weatherproof solar panels with high durability, ensuring long-term resistance to corrosion and damage.
- Power Consistency: Coastal areas tend to have less consistent sunlight, especially during the rainy season. To solve this, we used high-efficiency solar panels which are capable of storing power efficiently, even on overcast days. Additionally, our Pro-Double MPPT solar charge controllers ensured the lights could work with maximum energy output under different sunlight conditions.
- Lighting Coverage: Given the large area, we had to plan the layout to ensure optimal coverage of the walkways, beach access points, and key amenities. Our team conducted a detailed survey of the resort to determine the most efficient placement of each light.

Installation Process
We kicked off the installation with foundation work, placing lamp poles in already designed spots to ensure the lights would provide ample illumination throughout the resort. Given the high salt content in the air, we used materials that were resistant to corrosion to avoid any maintenance headaches down the line.
Once the poles were securely in place, the all-in-one solar street lights were installed. These lights, designed for quick assembly, were mounted onto the poles and connected to the solar panels, which were strategically positioned to maximize exposure to the sun.
BOSUN team also ensured that each light was thoroughly tested after installation. We tested not only the lighting but also the energy storage and charging systems to ensure they would provide reliable service for the 12 hours every night.
