The BOSUN^® team was entrusted with the task of installing 200 units of BS-SFL03 series solar-powered outdoor flood lights in a stadium to ensure high-brightness nighttime illumination for soccer competitions. Since the original BS-SFL03 solar flood lights do not include a lamp pole, we had to design a matching pole solution that could seamlessly integrate with the solar-powered system. The challenge was to provide optimal brightness without causing glare, ensuring a comfortable and professional playing experience while maintaining energy efficiency. Through careful planning, engineering expertise, and precise installation, the BOSUN^® team successfully delivered a customized solar flood lighting solution that meets stadium standards while being energy-efficient and cost-effective. By integrating custom lamp poles, DIALux-based light optimization, and seamless solar technology, we ensured a perfect nighttime playing environment for the football field.

Custom Street Lamp Pole Design & Integration

We've chosen the matchy street lamp pole for supporting the BS-SFL03 series solar flood lights as a stable foundation while allowing for optimal positioning and seamless installation.

The design had to accommodate the solar panel, battery, and light fixture while maintaining aesthetics and functionality.

Optimizing Lamp Pole Height & Light Positioning

We had an online site survey conducted to measure the field dimensions, surrounding structures, and potential obstructions.
The lamp pole height and solar flood light lighting area needed to be optimized to provide wide-area coverage while minimizing light spillage and glare.

Different pole heights were tested in the DIALux simulation to find the perfect balance.

Outdoor Solar Flood Light Fixtures Integration

The solar panels needed to be positioned at the correct tilt angle to maximize sunlight absorption. The LED light source needs to be accurate to the right lighting angle and make sure there are no dark spots in the lighting.

Precision DIALux Simulation & Layout Planning

The team conducted a DIALux lighting simulation to calculate the optimal positioning, angle, and spacing of the 200 fsolar powered outdoor flood lights. Ensured a uniform illumination of 300-500 lux, ideal for football matches without excessive brightness. Used anti-glare optical lenses to focus light on the field while reducing scattered light in the spectator areas.

Street Lamp Pole Design & Installation

The height of the lamp poles was set at 8-10 meters, with angled mounting brackets to direct light toward the field center while avoiding glare. Asymmetric beam angles were used to optimize coverage without light pollution. Optimized solar energy management and IR motion sensor for energy-saving.

Each BS-SFL03 solar flood light was equipped with a high-efficiency solar panel and long-lasting lithium battery for long-time illumination. Smart dimming technology was integrated to adjust brightness levels dynamically, ensuring power efficiency while maintaining optimal lighting conditions.

After installation, the BOSUN team conducted multiple tests and adjustments to ensure uniform brightness, proper angle adjustments, and optimal performance. Feedback was collected to fine-tune the lighting levels for maximum visibility without glare.
