4G/LTE Smart Street Light Solution

The Gebosun® 4G/LTE Smart Street Light Solution redefines deployment flexibility. By equipping every light with its own cellular connection, this solution eliminates the need for local concentrators or gateways. It functions exactly like a mobile phone network—wherever there is cell signal, you have full control. This makes it the perfect solution for scattered municipal projects, rural connecting roads, and long highways where building a local mesh network is impractical or too costly.

Why Choose 4G/LTE Smart Street Light?

Deploy Anywhere: Whether it's a single light in a parking lot or 10,000 lights across a province, installation is identical: just plug it in. No network planning, no gateway positioning, and no range anxiety.
Standardized Compatibility: We offer controllers with NEMA 7-PIN (ANSI C136.41) and Zhaga Book 18 interfaces. This ensures our 4G controllers fit seamlessly onto any certified street light from any manufacturer, enabling instant"Smart-Ready"upgrades.
Precise Asset Management: With built-in GPS modules, every controller automatically reports its exact latitude and longitude to the SCCS platform. This creates a real-time digital map of your assets, dramatically simplifying maintenance dispatch.

FAQs About 4G/LTE Smart Street Light Solution

Will the 4G controller work in my country?
Yes. Our 4G controllers are equipped with multi-band modules designed for global use. We support major frequency bands (B5, B8, B20, etc.) used in Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa. Before shipping, we confirm the specific carrier bands in your region to ensure plug-and-play connectivity.
What is the difference between NEMA and Zhaga controllers?
NEMA (ANSI C136.41): The traditional, larger 7-pin standard common in North America and many international projects. It switches the AC mains power directly.
Zhaga (Book 18): A newer, compact 4-pin standard powered by DC (from the driver). It is smaller, more aesthetic, and often lower cost, but requires a driver with AUX power (like Philips SR).
Gebosun offers both options to match your existing fixtures.

How much data does the controller use per month?
We optimize our data packets for efficiency. Under normal usage (reporting status every 15-30 minutes and receiving occasional commands), the data consumption is typically less than 30MB per month. Low-cost IoT SIM cards are perfect for this application.

Does the GPS feature require extra fees?
No, the GPS hardware is integrated into the controller (optional model). The positioning data is transmitted along with the regular status updates. It is invaluable for automatically generating your project map without manual entry.
